The EDGE program is about guiding high school youth in making decisions for their lives in the real world. Students with limited opportunity and exposure are taken outside their environments to connect what they learn in the classroom to real world people and places. The program offers academic, social, and career development.
There is no cost to participate. Students must be in high school and reside within Dallas County.
GET $MART teaches families financial management concepts through classroom instruction and hands-on application.
Practical money management strategies are emphasized to help families make everyday financial choices.
Participants are taught in a relaxed classroom environment, separated by age groupings of youth, teens and adults. Instruction is given by industry professionals who have a passion for teaching families in the community how to STOP STRESSING OVER MONEY!
Through the GET $MART program, participants learn how to 1. assess their present financial state 2. create a solid financial structure 3. make strong financial decisions for the future
